NC Climate Education Network Open House

Vivian Taylor, NC C-CAPE’s Community Engagement Coordinator, presented at the NC Climate Education Network Open House, a regular event hosted by DEQ to inform North Carolina educators about climate issues. This month’s session, “Harmful Algal Blooms and the Climate,” focused on the link between climate change and the increasing frequency of algal blooms. Vivian presented a short workshop on the increasing issues of harmful algal blooms and more information on NC C-CAPE’s work developing predictive models to better understand and manage these events.
